Suggestions
Nearly 20 years experience in wedding videography allows us to offer the following checklist of often overlooked concerns. We realize certain things can’t be helped, but if you will work with us as much as possible, your tape will be that much better. Remember, when you're watching your finished video weeks after the wedding, certain thing that may not have been important on location suddenly take first priority (i.e. floral arrangement placement, good camera placement, placement of wedding party, etc.). These are a few suggestion to help you get the best videotape or DVD possible.
Well-lit areas are best for video. Even though we use 3 chip, digital cameras, any professional video producer will agree, the more light, the better.
Open, airy areas are best for unobstructed camera angles. The less clutter, candles and greenery there is, the better chance of getting a good clean shot.
Single aisle entry for the wedding party is best for shooting and looks much better and leads to less “choppy” editing.
Patching audio from the church’s system sounds much better. Ask your church director to provide a feed for video.
Please avoid using latticework, huge wedding parties or other "walls" that may obstruct camera view.
We realize that perhaps not all of these requests can be met, these are simply suggestions to help us provide you the best product and avoid surprises when you view your tape or DVD later. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if we can be more accommodating in any way
